It’s funny how things pop up at the right moment – funny yet magical!
Fun fact. I come from family of hoarders (on one side) and I myself have become the queen of decluttering so much so family members let me lose at their house sometimes. At times it honestly drives my husband insane he’s worried I under clutter and reminds me this every time I say I have nothing to wear!
Anyway the reason I was mentioning this is because there is one thing I am a little bit of a hoarder with… and that is my notes. All the notes, ideas and ramblings I write down in my many art books, post it notes or even random bits of paper is the only thing I find hard to let go of.
Recently however I’ve been pulling out these notes and putting them up into the members area, turning them into posts on social media and now this one has lead me to write this blog.
This random page of scribble was a lovely surprise to find as it’s my notes from the Hay House Writers Workshop 2015. Yes this was years ago however out of the scribble came these reminders I wanted to share with you:
Write from the soul. Let go. Just be and allow. Write with passion – “I have to express this”.
To be honest I’ve been in many rooms with many different speakers but the above few lines of wisdom came from Dr. Wayne Dyer who is one of my favourite authors. As he spoke with grace from a comfy chair on the stage the whole room filled with the energy of love. Something I haven’t experienced before and a moment I will always treasure as days later he passed away. So honoured I got to see him this one time and hear that beautiful line “I have to express this”.
You’re supposed to share your story. Allow raw emotion. Write for yourself. Only happens when you are ready.
Surrender. Your body is a vessel. Speak, Act, Feel every thought and action through me. Spend time deepening your connection everyday.
Give yourself permission to write. Make a commitment and a deadline. Show up. You have a unique lens, voice and experience to share.
Remember the one person you help. The impact this will have. What is the need and how can you serve? Follow your heart and be playful.
Love writing. Say yes to sharing your story.

It’s taken a journey to be here, to feel free and worthy of love. Before it felt too raw to face myself, to say the things that my heart wanted to say. Now it seems that I couldn’t live life any other way then wholeheartedly. Today arrived a journal I ordered from @_toloveandback_ a place to put pen to paper – this is where my book will take place. It feels more sacred this way. For now, this book is for me. I approach this whole experience with respect. Each time I sit down to write I do so with rituals that feel aligned to be in a space and frequency where I allow my heart to flow onto the page. With compassion I connect to my story. Part of this experience, in writing this book is to share my journey with those who feel they’ve lost their faith in love, afraid to open their heart and feel unworthy. For those wanting to heal and to live life wholeheartedly. If you want to begin now I’ve created an space for you where you can remember love is raw, primal and your true nature. A frequency already within you… “Be Love” (read more about it 2 posts ago). #thewholeheartedway #belove
Build your platform. That’s all I had written for this last one however I feel that it is about creating a community that you can share your journey with as you are on your writing experience. I just created Be Love an intimate online program with 3 people that I am sharing insights and practices from my upcoming book.
It feels nice to be on the journey with others and share now. Not waiting until my book is ready before I begin. I am unsure how long this process of this book will take however I am treating this as a sacred process and honouring the experience. If you want to hear part of my story sign up via the link below – it’s raw and vulnerable. Changed the way I viewed myself and the world, firstly in a way that was destructive until I realised I was a vessel and it’s lead me to the path I am on today.
If you are a writer love to know which takeaway stood out to you most, that gave you goosebumps and that yes feeling in your body. Also feel free to share any tips in the comments below for writing I am open to receive!
