Dreams have always fascinated me. For a long time, I’ve been open to the idea within dreams are messages waiting to be discovered.
My Mum was curious about the meaning behind dreams. When I had a scary dream she would explain to me that it didn’t mean it was a bad message. I found it fun to be curious about my dreams and wondered what could it all mean?
When I heard Smadar was running a dream circle, instantly I was intrigued. Long ago women would gather to share their dreams so they could receive the deeper wisdom coming from within. So I wanted in on this experience!
Wasn’t really sure what to expect when I logged on to join the virtual circle. The dream that I recently had I remembered little of! Being in the first year of motherhood I also didn’t take the time to write it down as she’d recommended to prepare for the circle.
What could I possibly gain from this experience if I haven’t brought much to the circle I was thinking…
Funny enough, Smadar asked me to share first. She gave instructions to everyone else and encouraged me to share the little I remember. She made me feel hopeful mentioning that sometimes there’s a lot more then we realise in the little details. How right she was.
My dream was a little random really. I was at some kind of party whose I don’t recall. Felt familiar but I was sure where. A little detail I remembered was outside was a cobblestone street.
A friend of my parents named Dawn showed up with her daughter (but not her daughter… you know how dreams are right!) to a party she wasn’t invited to.
She was wearing a Camilla style dress with pops of orange and blue, it was sparkly and I remember being in awe of her confidence and how beautiful she looked.
At some point she was upset and curled up, I was comforting her.
After I shared there was a few steps which included questions, reflects and feedback from the others. On a page I followed the process Smadar recommended and let myself explore. Smadar also pulled a card that amazingly had cobblestones on it like in my dream as well as some other key pieces in the picture.
There was a clear message that I didn’t even think of or have in my awareness until my turn was complete. That Dawn the time of day was calling me to connect.
Sunrise is my favourite part of the day. It’s the way I bring in a new year, love to watch this show on trips and I even was married at sunrise.
Since becoming a Mum I hadn’t connected with the sun as it begins to rise up over the horizon as much.
I even realised because of Smadar not only the names but also the colours represented “Dawn”.
Blown away how this all came from one little snippet of a dream. Not only the above message that really resonated with me, there was things about my relationship with myself, with money, with confidence that all came through for me to unpack.
Strangely I wasn’t the only one to dream of cobblestones. Smadar shared how sometimes there will be similarity in dreams while in circle… incredible right?
I totally didn’t expect to receive as much as I did from this experience. It was truely magical. So much so that I wanted The Wholehearted Way Community to experience a Dreaming Yourself Awake Circle and contacted Smadar to come in as a guest teacher in August! If you feel called to have this experience too come join our community:
